MUS1172 Chamber Ensemble Level II

This course is offered to students in order to further their skills in performing chamber music from many diverse styles and eras. Repertoire will be different from their experience in MUS1171. The emphasis in this course is on refining and continuing to develop music reading, performance and musical interpretation skills. Students will play one of the instrumental lines in the Chamber Music Repertoire’s compositions or arrangements. Successful completion of MUS1171 is the prerequisite for this course. Students are required to attend one rehearsal per week, learn their musical part and to participate in several performances during a semester. Credits: 1.000
