MAT2621 Applied Statistics This course focuses on how statistics are used to inform decisions within the fields of business, social science, and life science. Topics covered include descriptive and inferential statistics, organizing and visualizing data, basic probability, the binomial distribution, the normal distribution, sampling, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, linear regression, and multiple regression.
