BUS1021 ST: Entrepreneurship I In this introductory, one-credit course students will become familiar with the basic concepts in entrepreneurship by researching, articulating, and evaluating a business plan. Students will be introduced to the Idea Lab resources, financial planning, market research, product sourcing, prototyping, staffing, project management, marketing, and sales. Students will be assessing standard business pitches an to explore creatin their own future pitch. The instructor will provide hands-on training in the proper development and use of tools such as the business model canvas, Excel spreadsheets, and Idea Lab equipment. Previous experience in business development is not required. Credits: 1.000
