ART4001 Capstone in the Arts As the culminating course in the major, the Capstone in the Arts enables students to apply their technical skills and critical knowledge in a self-directed and sustained process of art production that concludes with a public artist talk and exhibition or performance. This work represents a synthesis of their interests, skills, research, and learning in the program. In addition to their independent work, students in the capstone course will meet in a seminar format to present their work in progress, critique each other’s work and gain critical feedback from art faculty. This course is open only to students in their final year of the arts major. Credits: 3.000
