VID2011 Video I

This course provides an introduction to basic video production techniques, including operation of the digital video camera and the fundamentals of nonlinear editing on Final Cut Pro. The class is structured around technical demonstrations, in-class and location shoots, editing tutorials, screenings, and regular critiques of student videos. Course projects include an experimental video, a music video, and a short documentary. Students are encouraged to develop their own imagery and production techniques. Lab fee applied to this course.
