BUS3031 Opportunity Management This course implements a real-world entrepreneurial project. The course goal is for students to apply project management techniques, goal setting, problem-solving, product/service development, team building, and leadership skills to gain hands-on experience using effective communication, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills. Critical content includes project design and planning, market research, promotion and public relations, and new product development/implementation. Applying the knowledge from earlier coursework will allow students to synthesize prior learning with real-world skills. The primary teaching and learning modes include team-based group work, field trips, applied experimental learning, reflection, and presentation. Students will participate in a semester-long project that involves working with a real-world organization that will culminate in a presentation. Credits: 3.000
