COM4000 COMEL Capstone

This is the culminating course of the BA-COMEL degree in which students develop, implement, and deliver an independent project which will be a synthesis of their skills and interests within the disciplines of Communication, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership. In collaboration with the instructor, students will plan and develop a project in a chosen format (i.e., academic paper, multimedia presentation, business plan, etc) that demonstrates advanced application of research methods, scholarship in the discipline, as well as the professional conventions of the chosen medium. Students will be expected to work independently and utilize time and project management skills to meet established milestones. The final artifact, along with a literature review, will be used to assess integration of skills and knowledge gained in their project area. Student presentations provide the opportunity to outline the process, research, and artifact, and to demonstrate these advanced competencies. Credits: 3.000
