EDU2032 Career Development In this career development course, students will engage in discussions and experiential activities that support an in-depth understanding of their interests, values, skills, strengths, and limitations as they consider future career options. Through a variety of readings, short films, assessments, and experiential activities, students will analyze current trends and theories related to career development and critically examine the implications of some of these trends and theories for neurodivergent learners. Students will conduct research related to career paths of interest, explore opportunities both on and off campus for advancing their work-related interests and skills, develop a career portfolio, and construct a realistic plan for furthering their personal and/or professional goals beyond the course.
