ART3033 ST: Create, Critique, Repeat Critique is a staple of all art and design practices. A critique group verbally considers the form, craftsmanship, and context of a presented piece. This discursive process helps inform the presenter how an audience will regard their work; it offers feedback to better refine their piece. In this course, students will research their ideas, create work in the studio and/or performing arts, and present this work to the class for critique. Students will be expected to document and analyze this feedback and use it to reiterate and refine their work. Through this process, students will better understand the purpose and context of their work, thereby determining who their audience should be. Credits: 3
