Photographic processes include: pinhole photography, salt printing, cyanotype, kallitype, silver gelatin, data moshing, and more. In its survey of history, the course emphasizes photography and cinema as branches of natural philosophy with precedents in the genre of philosophical toys and ancient tools for observational astronomy.
