EDU1140 Career Exploration / Self Assessment

In this Career Exploration course, students will engage in activities designed to help them explore the landscape of work and reflect upon viable career paths and options of the future. They will assess their own interests, skills, personality preferences, and values and reflect upon the implications of these characteristics for future career-related discussions. In addition, students will be asked to consider some of the strengths and challenges they bring to the workplace as neurodivergent learners. At the end of the course, students will submit a final portfolio that documents their exploratory work in the course and outlines next steps for advancing their career goals. Credits: 1
