PSY3024 ST: Psychology of Technology In this seminar course, students will survey the history of technology with a specific focus on its relationship to human psychology and culture. The class will analyze the relationship between technology and society, the impact of major technological developments on human development, and the use of technology in the discipline of psychology. This 3000-level course can be taken as an elective for non-majors. This course will challenge students to develop a deeper understanding of the topics addressed as well as how their own lived experience, and the human condition in general, is impacted by the invention and use of various technologies. Students will learn by participating in lectures and discussions, viewing films, reading articles, and producing analytical responses. Credits: 3
