HIS3020 PV:WWII Propaganda World War 2 Propaganda explores how governments and media influenced public opinion, mobilized populations, and shaped national identities. Students will analyze propaganda from multiple countries, including The United States, Germany, The Soviet Union, and Japan, through posters, films, radio broadcasts, and speeches. The course will also address how propaganda reflected and reinforced political ideologies, racial and national stereotypes, and wartime strategies. By engaging with primary and secondary sources, students will develop an understanding of how propaganda functioned as a tool or war and mass persuasion. Aside from students interested in military or political history, this course provides insights for students interested in media studies, political science, and communication. Credits: 3.000
