CHE1522 Principles of Chemistry II Principles of Chemistry II is the second semester of a two-semester chemistry sequence. The course continues from Principles of Chemistry I, covering the topics of thermochemistry, kinetics, equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, and electrochemistry, with an introduction to organic and biochemistry if time permits. As in the first semester, examples to illustrate the material will be drawn from multiple fields, including medicine and the allied health fields, environmental science, and biology, as well as industrial chemistry.
