CSC1635 Computer Science I This course studies the foundational elements of computing using a problem-centered approach. Topics include: expression of algorithms in pseudo code and a programming language, procedural and imperative programming techniques, control structures, problem solving using recursion, techniques in searching and sorting, and elementary data structures. Students will be expected to design, implement, and debug programs in a programming language. This course is composed of both lecture and lab. Math Level L7.1 or MAT 1641 , College Algebra, is required. Credits: 4.000
