The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BS-CS) degree at Landmark College prepares students interested in working in a computer science related field such as Cybersecurity, Game Design & Development, Software Design, Mobile Application Development, or Computer Hardware Engineering. Our curriculum is project-based and highly interactive to encourage student exploration. Study includes mathematics, programming, software design, and computer architecture. Courses in high-level computer languages such as JAVA, C, and C++ provide the foundation. Other courses include logic, networking, operating systems, interactive digital design, and mobile development.
To earn the BS-CS students must complete 121 credits which include the general education core (31 credits not met by major requirements), 58 credits of additional major requirements, and 32 credits of open electives. Students must complete at least 45 credits at the 3000/4000 level.

The major culminates in a final 3 credit capstone experience that provides students with the opportunity to integrate the knowledge that they have gained from across the curriculum. Students are encouraged to work in teams, and can pursue either an applied or theory project.
