A minor in Education requires 18 total credits earned in the disciplines of Education or Psychology at least 9 credits must be at the 3000 or 4000 level. The minor includes 6 required credits and 12 discipline related elective credits.
Students must earn a C or better in courses included as contributing to the minor. Students may apply up to 6 credits that count as requirements for a major program toward a minor. Distribution electives in a major can be applied toward the minor. Six transfer credits may be applied towards a minor.
Required Courses: 6 credits
Discipline Elective Courses: 12 credits; at least 6 at the 3000 or 4000 level
- One additional Education (EDU) course (3 credits)
- Three additional Education (EDU) or Psychology (PSY) course (9 credits)
