Humanities Concentration

A concentration in the Humanities provides students with a broad foundation to develop understanding into the impact of culture on values, assumptions, and worldview.
A concentration in the Humanities requires 15 total credits. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 15 credits. Students may apply transfer credits towards the achievement of a concentration.

Required Foundation (Choose one introductory course): 3 credits
Required Humanities Exploration Area:
12 credits at or above the 2000 level* in any of the following discipline areas:
- History (HIS)
- Humanities (HUM)
- Philosophy (PHI)
- Religion (REL)
*Students may take the second course in a sequence of the foundation level as one of their exploration choices.
