Creative Writing Concentration

A concentration in Creative Writing provides students with a broad foundation to support their creative writing efforts, or study the work of others.

A concentration in Creative Writing requires 15 total credits. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 15 credits.  Students may apply transfer credits towards the achievement of a concentration.

 

Required Creative Writing Foundation: 3 credits

Required Creative Writing Focus Area:

12 credits at or above the 2000 level in any of the following discipline areas (6 must be in CRW):

  • Creative Writing (CRW)
  • Literature (LIT)
  • Writing (WRT)
