Heath Sciences Minor

A minor in Health Sciences provides students with the opportunity to take on a second area of focus beyond their declared major. The Health Sciences minor allows students to explore topics in health and wellness, such as nutrition, exercise, and human physiology. These knowledge areas support students in broadening their understanding of biological, social, and behavioral factors that influence health and wellness.

A minor in Health Sciences requires 18 total credits. Students must earn an average of C or better in all 18 credits. At least six credits in the minor must be earned at Landmark College. At least nine credits earned in the minor must be unique to the minor and not meet a major requirement.

Health Sciences Foundation Requirements: 8 credits

Health Sciences Focus Area Requirements: 10 credits


Four credits at the 1000 level in BIO, CHE, or HTH

Three credits at the 3000 - 4000 level in BIO, CHE, or HTH

Three credits at the 3000 - 4000 level in BIO, CHE, HTH, or PSY
