The Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies (BA-LST) degree at Landmark College is designed to prepare students to responsibly and ethically engage with a community and the world in a manner that supports and values diversity, inclusion, and equity. This interdisciplinary major provides opportunities for students to develop their communication, problem solving, information technology, and crictical thinking abilities. Civic engagement is a fundamental element of the curriculum as students explore the liberal arts and create an area of focus for their culminating capstone project.
The earn the BA-LST, students must complete 121 credits which includes the general education core (34 credits not met by major requirements), 33 credits of additional major requirements, and 54 credits of open electives which provides the opportunity for students to design a program of interest that works for them. Students must complete at least 45 credits at the 3000/4000 level.

- COM1011 Introduction to Communication 3 credits
- Mathematics MAT1311 Mathematical Ideas , MAT1321 Statistics , or MAT1641 College Algebra or higher (MAT1541 Intermediate Algebra cannot be used to satisfy any requirement) 3 credits
