MAT2741 Linear Algebra Linear Algebra is the study of matrix theory and is applicable to many disciplines such as Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, and Natural and Physical Sciences. This course covers matrix theory, linear systems, determinants, linear transformations, inner products, eigenvalues, and eigenvectors. Visual and geometric applications of these topics will be explored. The course will emphasize both conceptual and analytical understanding of these topics. The thinking and problem solving nature of this course suggests that the successful student will have completed introductory calculus. Computer technologies will be utilized in this course. Placement test and/or a prerequiste of MAT2731 with a grade of C- or higher is required. Credits: 4.000
