CS2401 Programming I This course teaches the fundamental ideas behind the object-oriented approach to programming used in business, software, and game development. Through the widely-used Java programming language the basic principles and concepts of object-oriented programming will be studied as well as the syntax of this high level language. These include: operators, program control, arrays, classes, inheritance, polymorphism, and event handling. Techniques for simplifying the programming process, testing code quality, and debugging will also be explored. Credits: 3
