COM3071 Professional Presentations In this course, students will expand upon their abilities to plan, organize and execute highly effective presentations within a variety of community, civic, business and academic settings. Students will examine contemporary presentation practices through interviews with professionals in the field. They will master multi-media resources used to augment and enhance their public presentations. On at least two occasions, in small groups, students will conduct audience analysis of off-campus organizations and give 40-60 minute public presentations to these audiences. Students must have completed three courses at the 2000 level, with grades of C or higher, as prerequisites for this course. One of these prerequisite courses must be either a COM 2000 or HIS/HUM/PHI 2000 level course. Students cannot receive credit for both CO2071 and COM3071. Credits: 3.000
