CSC3841 Computer Graphics Computer graphics serves as an introduction to the principles and techniques of 3D modeling necessary for creating digital environments and animated characters. Techniques for object representation and transformations are covered along with projection, lighting, and texturing methods to realistically render the 3D models on a 2D screen. This course is primarily concerned with the implementation of these algorithms and techniques through C/C++ and OpenGL/OpenCL. Students will use industry software such as Maya, 3dsMax, Blender, and Cinema 4D as example projects which embody these graphics techniques, but note that this is primarily a programming course, not an art course. Strategies used in animation and game development will be explored. Credits: 3.000
