EN2222 Poetry Workshop

This course focuses on writing and analyzing poetry. Students read broadly in the genre and respond to readings in discussion and writing assignments. They participate in an in-class poetry workshop where they read and discuss each other’s poems. Experimentations in form is encouraged and expected. The class takes advantage of local poetry readings and students are encouraged to participate in Landmark’s reading series. Each student will have produced a small collection of poems by the semester’s end. Credits: 3
