EN2233 Creative Nonfiction This course introduces students to the elements and practice of creative nonfiction through a guided series of readings, writing exercises, and an independent project. Creative nonfiction is an umbrella term that covers a number of specific sub-genres, including memoir or personal essay, literary journalism, nature writing, travel writing, food writing, and so on. As with other forms of creative writing, this course will provide students with a creative outlet while also helping them to continue to develop reading, writing, analytical, and self-management skills. Credits: 3
