The course will consist of reading, writing, poster presentations, and online interactions in an atmosphere of respect for each individual’s opinion. Topics will be drawn from current scientific research that has an impact on society, perhaps because of ethical, political, or social concerns. Students will need to read and think critically and skeptically, and present clear, well-supported arguments both verbally and in writing.
