SS3411 International Development

Students will familiarize themselves with the dominant scholarly approaches to international development, so that they come to understand both development and underdevelopment as ongoing and dynamic economic, social, and political processes. Ideally, this course would serve as a follow-up to SS1411  (Introduction to Political Science) and SS2411  (International Relations), although these courses are not prerequisites. Students must have completed three courses at the 2000 level, with grades of C or higher, as prerequisites for this course. Credits: 3
