CHE2014 ST:The Chemistry of Magic

The principles of chemistry underly many popular “magical” demonstrations and online videos. Each week this course will focus on a different chemical principle that explains the science behind seemingly magical chemical reactions. The course will also provide students with the tools to safely replicate these demonstrations. At the end of the course, students will choose a magical chemical demonstration to research and safely replicate, while explaining the underlying chemical concepts. Credits: 3.000
